Frédéric Bertrand

Frédéric has 18 years of experience in providing program and impact evaluation services. He is recognized for creativity, flexibility as well as for employing pragmatic, collaborative and data-driven approaches.

Since 2002, Frédéric led and contributed to more than 150 projects for more than 70 Canadian and international organizations. He served as the lead consultant for science-based federal and provincial organizations as well as  for universities, foundations and professional associations across Canada. Over the last five years, Frédéric expanded his practice to collaborations with community-based and social innovation organizations. He supported impact measurement and data collection initiatives for various sectors including research, education and performing art, public health, environment and natural resources, climate change, as well as regional economic development, mentorship, family and youth, women, minorities and community development.

Frédéric holds a Credentialed Evaluator designation from the Canadian Evaluation Society (CES). He completed a Master in environmental sciences and certificate in sociology of sciences at the Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM) and a continuing education course in Project Management at McGill University. Frédéric is also actively involved in mentoring and supporting emerging evaluators as a member of the CES Credentialed Board and judge to CES Student Case Competitions.
