As a Coach, Gerard McNeil brings an interdisciplinary background to this role, that includes designing and facilitating unique arts infused community engagement and learning programs, a wide range of experiences in the human services field, diverse leadership roles within the non-profit sector and an ongoing visual arts practice. These experiences are further informed by an equally diverse educational background that includes, a Master of Education in Adult Education, Bachelor of Education – Visual Arts Specialist, Bachelor of Fine Arts in Fine Arts, Certificate in Advanced Design Thinking, Certificate Non – Profit Sector Management. Along with these credentials Gerard is also a Certified Coach Practitioner.
Gerard is committed to placing the client at the center, both in the development and delivery of every coaching process he offers. Gerard is also committed to the establishment of an inclusive coaching environment and feels it is paramount that the client is provided with the optimal coaching experience, in a safe and non-judgmental setting. This of course, requires an on going dialogue between client and coach. It is through this on going dialogue that the client becomes an active partner in the creation of the coaching process.
