Christine McGlade has been working at the intersection of charitable program delivery and business model innovation since 2003 when she became the Director of Interactive and Education at TVO, a charitable educational media organization. During her 9 years at TVO, Christine engaged with cultural organizations to help them develop new revenue models to decrease their reliance on grants and traditional funding sources.
Christine worked for two years with Get Involved, an online community of volunteers and charitable organizations where she coached member organizations on API-based business models and opportunities through technology.
Christine is a Masters Candidate in the Strategic Foresight and Innovation program at OCAD University (2018). Through the program she worked as a coach and facilitator with the Shape My City leadership team and participant organizations to develop an innovative, impact-based platform business model.
Recently, Christine has been working with Sistering, a women's drop-in, facilitating and coaching leadership and participants in their two social enterprises, Inspirations and Spun Studio, to cocreate impact based program and business models.
Christine has been a board director for Sancta Maria House and The Peer Project and tends to coach and facilitate primarily in the social services sector.
