Biography

As a social impact coach, Alyssa Tataryn (she/her) brings expertise in financial modelling and analysis along with a vibrant energy and strategic pragmatism. 

As an Entrepreneur In Residence at Purppl, Alyssa walks alongside social entrepreneurs and impact leaders to enhance their financial management and decision-making skills. Skilled in scaling the reach and effectiveness of projects and organizations for broader social impact, as well as in creating robust financial and business models to guide strategic decision-making, Alyssa works with clients in Social Enterprise Development, Impact Strategy & Measurement, Financial and Business Strategy, Feasibility Studies, Strategic Planning, Financial Management, and Resource Optimization to build capacity and sustain organizational growth.

Having collaborated with leaders from more than 70 organizations, she has honed her ability to build financial capacity, boost confidence in decision-making, and guide strategic planning and impact measurement to enable organizations to flourish as they achieve their goals.

Alyssa’s skills are not just about numbers; they’re about making a real impact through personalized coaching and support. With a deep commitment to her clients’ success, she seeks to build a foundation of resilience, creativity, and strategic thinking for each organization – qualities she herself has developed through many years of diverse experiences in the social economy.

Residing in Kelowna, BC, on the beautiful territory of the Syilx Okanagan people, she draws inspiration from her surroundings, infusing her work with a sense of place and appreciation for the natural beauty. She has a deep connection to her home, community, and her little dog, Mila, whose presence adds joy to her professional interactions, especially in virtual meetings.
