Biography

Diane Entwistle (she/her) is an experienced nonprofit leader with a lifelong passion for developing leaders, community collaboration and working together to find solutions to complex challenges. She helps leaders to both define and achieve their vision and mission, solve problems, and change things for the better, bringing a positive, strengths-based and engaging approach to her work.

Over her 30 years at Boys & Girls Club-Okanagan, retiring as CEO, Diane worked on a local, provincial, and national level to improve the lives of children, youth, and families. There, she developed and facilitated a two-year Emerging Leaders Program for mid-level managers and staff seeking to build their leadership skills. Diane developed and facilitated a leadership program for Senior Leaders as well.

After retiring from BGCO, Diane has continued to work as a Leadership Coach and Advisor to develop experienced and emerging leaders.

Diane currently serves an Entrepreneur In Residence at Purppl, a social enterprise that coaches, consults, and collaborates with social entrepreneurs and impact leaders to build regenerative enterprises and initiatives that address systemic inequity. As a coach, Diane specializes in revenue models, impact models and measurement, operations and leadership development.

Diane’s coaching approach uplifts leaders’ ability to build sustainable organizations, make strategic decisions, and move their organizations closer to their impact goals – all the while nurturing their confidence to lead with conviction and hope. Leadership is essential in working towards the achievement of our collective vision and mission.

Diane lives on the traditional land of the Sylix Okanagan people.
