Scaling Impact

In reality, Scaling Impact is far more complex than we thought. The process is rarely a linear enterprise in which changemakers finalize the conditions for scaling in one big push. Instead, it is likely to be a relentless, long-term process of adaptation and change. Scaling requires participants to be serious about learning from both successes and failures, and to have the capacity to build on those insights moving forward.

Social Enterprise

This stream helps participants explore ideas for how they can further their organization’s social impact goals and generate revenue through an enterprise model. The focus is on helping leaders and changemakers from established social-purpose organizations identify business opportunities, assess viability, and plan for launch.

Policy Engagement

Policy Engagement helps leaders and changemakers understand, communicate, and work with policy-makers, practitioners, organizations, businesses, and/or segments of the public to promote policy changes that will advance the outcomes that their community seeks.

There is no one-size fits all in policy engagement processes. These are variable and impacted by numerous factors, including unpredictable changes and windows of opportunity in the political landscape. In addition, the intended impacts of such processes can take a long time to achieve.
