My name is Ainsworth Slowly, and I operate a social enterprise for young media professionals, creative and social entrepreneurs. I provide innovative skill training, mentorship and entrepreneurial education for youth 16-29 who are from marginalized communities with high unemployment and the need to develop new career skills.
I have extensive experience delivering valuable skill training and entrepreneurial programs. Since 2011 I have delivered workshops to over 17,000 clients in Scarborough and the GTA. In 2014 I was a successful Innoweave grant recipient. We focused on pivoting our digital media centre operations to include social enterprise Initiatives. More recently in 2017 I completed an extensive yearlong accelerator program through Venture Lab, CommunityBUILD and York University, Shulich School of Business for Social Enterprise.
Over the last 2 years I have honed my skills and knowledge in the social enterprise space. I now consult with organizations on how to infuse social enterprise initiatives into their operations. I can add value to your organization by creating digital-social and content strategies, ensuring your brand has a vision for achieving growth and success.
