Andrew Greer (he/him) is Cofounder and Managing Director of Purppl, which works with social entrepreneurs and impact leaders to build regenerative enterprises that address the root causes of systemic inequity. Clients get a team of experienced Entrepreneurs In Residence to work together to build skills, confidence and impact through customized business coaching, strategic planning, impact measurement and management, leadership development, project-based consulting, specialized training and workshops, as well as impact investing and community building.
Andrew is a current board director of Central Okanagan Foundation and Big Brothers and Big Sisters of the Central and Southern Interior, and former director of the Collective Impact Foundation, One Big Table Coop, Okanagan Changemakers, UBC’s Faculty of Creative and Critical Studies, and others.
Andrew is a former top Canadian sales manager for Xerox. He’s also a former program manager with Accelerate Okanagan, a tech accelerator, and has helped hundreds of tech entrepreneurs grow their companies.
The coaching approach of Andrew and the Purppl team empowers leaders to build sustainable organizations, make strategic decisions, and move their organizations closer to their impact goals — all the while nurturing their confidence to lead with conviction and hope.
Purppl has coached more than 100 social-purpose organizations (charitable, nonprofit, co-ops, businesses and institutions) across Canada and the U.S., enabling them to address community challenges such as affordable housing, social isolation, accessible transportation, engagement of at-risk youth, domestic abuse, mental health, reconciliation with Indigenous peoples, access to food and water, and more.
Purppl has deep expertise developing social enterprises and impact models, and through their highly experienced team of Entrepreneurs in Residence, and can offer coaching support across 3 Innoweave streams: Social Enterprise, Scaling Impact and Impact Measurement.
Purppl is a co-owner of Thrive Impact Fund, a regional impact investment fund based in Victoria and the Interior of British Columbia.
