Vera Consulting’s mission is to help social purpose organizations design, implement and strengthen solutions to complex social challenges through strategic planning, facilitation, and evaluation support.
Annelies has over a decade of experience designing and conducting evaluations at local and national scales. Her work includes providing multi-year developmental evaluation support to social labs and social innovation initiatives, in addition to conducting summative and formative evaluations of programs, initiatives and events. Annelies works with clients to design evaluation frameworks and tools, conduct and support evaluative practices, and synthesize data to provide insights that inform strategy development and decision making.
Annelies weaves evaluation into all of her work, and brings a reflective and curious mindset to her engagements. She has DE training from Innoweave as well as the Banff Getting to Maybe Social Innovation Residency and her background as an engineer helps her bring rigour and evidence-based decision making to support her clients. Annelies takes a systems change approach to her work and helps clients identify opportunities to learn from successes and failures to help drive towards their ultimate impact.
Annelies is currently leading three multi-year developmental evaluations and is also contributing to the evaluation community through her support to the development of a Labs Evaluation Framework by Mark Cabaj. She is constantly in pursuit of ways to engage with and contribute to the field of developmental evaluation.
