Barbara Odenwald is a dynamic organizational consultant and coach, with over 22 years’ experience successfully facilitating professional development and individual and organizational capacity-building.
Through her work she lives a passion for helping leaders, teams and organizations become life-long learners and sustainable learning organizations. Using a customized approach for each client, she guides vision and strategic goal-setting and operationalization, as well as provides clarity, tools, assessments and strategies in order to help teams work effectively and to maximize personal leadership agility.
To her coaching and consulting, Barbara has brought her expertise in communications, innovation, partnership building, change management, public speaking, negotiation, strategic planning and international experience to previous positions with a number of provincial and national-level organizations in which she has held management and executive positions, including the Library of Parliament, Hill & Knowlton, The Critical Thinking Consortium, FairVote Canada and the BC Social Studies Teachers Professional Association.
Barbara holds two degrees in Social Sciences and Education from the University of British Columbia. She is a certified FourSight Breakthrough Innovative Thinking assessor, certified in Design Thinking from the MIT Sloan School of Business Emeritus Program, and is a Conversational Intelligence CIQ® certified executive coach.
