Beena is the Principal Consultant at The Sector that brings over 15 years of management consultant experience within the health, social services, education, public and private sector practices of IBM, Deloitte and Ernst & Young (EY). Her diverse experience is reflected in her broad skillset including project and program management, analytics, strategic and business planning, evaluation and monitoring, process design, resourcing models, organizational functional design, complex stakeholder consultations, executive-level decision-making, strategic partnering and business development.
Beena is passionate about improving social outcomes, building strategic and collaborative partnerships, demonstrating outcomes-based value and securing program sustainability. Her experience enables her to assess business needs of enterprises and determine appropriate solutions to build capacity and grow businesses for investment readiness. Her areas of expertise include the development of robust business plans, analysis of company processes to reduce inefficiencies and maximize profits, enterprise risk management strategies, cash flow and budgeting systems and funding development strategies.
Beena holds a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, an Honours Bachelor of Science from the University of Toronto and a Master of Business Administration with multiple awards from McMaster University’s DeGroote School Business. She recently completed an Advanced Academics Program in Data Analytics and Policy at Johns Hopkins University.
