Biography

Elaina’s “critical friend” approach supports participants, practitioners and partners to make sense of complexity, take informed action and to seek innovate solutions. She applies her 15+ years of experience in evaluation, research, project management and communications to help children/youth, organizations and communities to thrive, both in Canada and internationally.

As an Innoweave coach, Elaina works with non-profit organizations, foundations, businesses and government agencies to:

  • Create Theory of Change frameworks to identify impact goals, strategies and assumptions
  • Support organizations to address challenging situations
  • Collect real-time data using participatory tools for different groups
  • Facilitate team building to communicate collective impact efforts

She holds a Master of Arts in Public Administration and Bachelor of Arts in Communication. Currently, she is a part-time Director with the International Institute for Child Rights and Development, based in Victoria, BC.
