Biography

I have been working as a social policy and planning specialist since 2000, researching and evaluating programs that aim to make a positive difference in people’s lives and in our community. With municipal and community experience as an internal and external consultant, I have worked with a range of social and health services agencies in the areas of settlement, community health, poverty, disabilities, justice, creative art, employment, early learning and social enterprise.

I take a collaborative approach to evaluation and bring a social justice perspective to each project. Relationship building, commitment and authentic engagement are core values that guide me personally and professionally. With skills in qualitative and quantitative research, I strive to provide the best possible guidance balancing good research and evaluation standards with practical considerations. My membership with the Canadian Evaluation Society is instrumental for my professional learning and growth. I am thoughtful and thorough in my work, without losing sight of the big picture.

Most importantly, I truly enjoy the opportunity to contribute to the important work that social sector organizations do.
