Biography

Jane lives, works, and plays in K’jipuktuk (Halifax) on the traditional and unceded lands of the Mi’kmaq people. She is a facilitator and design consultant, working with impact-driven organizations to develop programs and services that promote equity within the communities they serve. Jane offers design consulting services, working closely with the community to transform programs and services to be fair, sustainable, and useful with people’s real needs at their heart. She also support organizations to build capacity for ongoing engagement, innovation, and evaluation efforts on their own.

Jane has collaborated with government programs, local non-profits, and social businesses to lead projects that build organizational capacity, foster inclusion, and spur innovation. Originally trained as a Mechanical Engineer, she thrives in complex and dynamic environments leveraging strong skills in project management and problem solving. She brings a commitment to deep listening, public participation, collaboration, decolonization, and anti-racism throughout her work.
