Julien Geremie

Biography

Julien coaches dozens of cooperatives and social enterprises throughout Ontario, particularly in the areas of agriculture, rural development, health and business succession. He works in cooperation with some one hundred partner organizations and has a strong understanding of Ontario’s economic, community and cultural environment. He has been invited to present at a number of workshops and conferences in Canada and abroad. He is also a manager of the Association of Cooperative Educators, co-president of the Ontario Social Economy Roundtable, a board member for the Coopérative radiophonique de Toronto and the Assemblée de la francophonie de l’Ontario, a member of Ontario work groups measuring social impact and community benefits and a member of government relations committees for the provincial and national cooperative movement.
