Marisol started her career in fundraising and worked as a fundraiser for 7 years prior to entering the world of social entrepreneurship. Working closely with organizations that relied heavily on grants led her to become curious about social entrepreneurship and the possibilities of organizations engaging in new and sustainable ways to access revenue. Marisol currently works with BIPOC, women and non-binary social entrepreneurs to gain clarity on their social enterprise business models. She supports them with understanding their big WHY, refining their theory of change and uses social enterprise tools to align their activities with their desired impact. Her goal is to make her coaching inclusive, responsive and systems informed. She currently coaches and facilitates workshops for entrepreneurs partaking in programs at the Centre for Social Innovation, SVX, Paro Centre for Women’s Enterprise, Centennial College and Progress Playbook.
