Experienced business leader, strategic planner, communicator and marketer, Susanne is active in Canada’s impact investing ecosystem through the Canadian Forum for Impact Investing and Development. She supports clients with business strategies and effective, innovative marketing and communications plans.
Susanne founded and led an award-winning, North American communications and public relations agency with two primary streams of clients – leading/emerging consumer brands and the regulated sectors of healthcare and pharmaceutical marketing. Following the successful sale of the agency, Susanne shifted her general management experience to the non-profit sector where she has focused on organizational effectiveness, strategic planning and governance, and sharpening in-house marketing/communications programmes.
Susanne has significant experience working with all levels of government and in particular Global Affairs Canada where she began her career as a Foreign Service Officer.
Susanne earned an Honours Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from Glendon College with a one-year exchange at Laval University in Quebec.
