Dr. Hebb is a Principal with Hebb, Knight and Associates working closely with community-based organizations in the areas of social finance, impact investing, responsible investing and impact measurement. She is a Distinguished Research Fellow and past Director of the Carleton Centre for Community Innovation, Carleton University, Canada where she also taught a Masters-level course in Responsible and Impact Investment for over ten years. From 2008 to 2016 She led a research consortium on Responsible Investing funded by the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council, Government of Canada. Dr. Hebb chaired of the Academic Network of the UN- Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI) (2009-2014). She serves on a number of Boards and Investment Committees in Canada. She co-chaired the Ontario’s Social Enterprise Impact Measurement Task Force. She was a board member of the the Responsible Investment Association (Canada) from 2011 to 2017.
Dr. Hebb received her Doctorate from University of Oxford. She is a frequent guest speaker on impact investment, responsible investment and impact measurement issues. She has published many books and articles on responsible investing and impact investing including The Routledge Handbook of Responsible Investment and SRI in the 21st Century: Does it make a Difference to Society.
