Vanessa Parlette brings 15 years of experience working across community and government sectors in developing, implementing, and managing evidence-based and community-driven policies and collect impact strategies towards health and social equity – alongside diverse partners from grassroots to senior leadership.
With a PhD in Urban Geography and Planning from the University of Toronto and a Master’s in Communications from Simon Fraser University, Vanessa is committed to bringing equal rigour to the co-design of community solutions as to the methods used to measure and enhance impact.
She is known for breaking down complexity and siloes, enabling communities to achieve transformative change by working with and for those most impacted. She does this by working across multiple levels and sectors to build collective commitment while simultaneously creating opportunities and pathways for all partners and stakeholders to find a place to engage, take action, and see progress toward long-term goals.
