Yassen Yordanov

Biography

Yassen is a recognized expert in the evaluation and development of collective projects by local and regional partners from various types of organizations. Coaching and evaluating collective projects takes a strong understanding of how stakeholders work and the dynamics between various partners. As a trained project manager and evaluator, Yassen has honed his ability to take into account the complex nature of projects and the contexts in which they are run. Context is very often a factor of a project’s success or failure, particularly when it comes to working with stakeholders to identify feasible and useful evaluation questions. Yassen has worked in several sectors, including public health and social services, performance improvement, and knowledge transfer. Yassen has taken part in a number of evaluation processes and teaches evaluation at Université de Montréal.
