Elayne McIvor, MPH, CE, is an independent consultant specializing in program planning and evaluation within the field of public health. She has conducted a wide range of applied research and evaluation projects for non-profit organizations, government, corporations and funders that address a range health and social service issues. Working both locally and globally, she is driven to help her clients develop, assess and improve the effectiveness of their social change efforts.
Elayne is passionate about working closely with her clients to enhance their understanding of evaluation concepts and practices, and build cultures of evaluation within their organizations. Her passion for capacity building has also led her to instruct the Program Planning and Evaluation class within the Faculty of Health Sciences at Simon Fraser University.
Elayne is a member of the Canadian Evaluation Society and American Evaluation Association, and also serves as Regional Coordinator for the Canadian Evaluation Society BC and Yukon Chapter. She holds a Masters of Public Health from Simon Fraser University.
