Over the past 15+ years, Aaron has led projects and service transformations across the environmental, employment, mental health, social assistance, and housing sectors. Recently, running the Project Management Office for the transformation of Ontario’s Social Assistance System. This work has been focused on creating sustainable organizations and services that deliver value for citizens. Aaron works with teams to test new ideas through co-design, take them to scale, and engage policymakers to build support. Aaron is often called upon to lead start-ups and turnarounds, focusing on the engagement of staff and the community to co-design solutions. He has also taught in the Public Service program at Conestoga College.
Aaron has been recognized as a 40 Under 40 leader in Waterloo Region, holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s in environmental studies from the University of Waterloo, a Master’s in Business Administration from Athabasca University, the Public Leadership Credential from the Harvard Kennedy School, a LEAN Black Belt from the University of Toronto, and a Project Management Certificate from Cornell University. Aaron is also currently completing his certification as a Project Management Professional.
