Biographie

Currently I’m the Executive Director of a large 500 employee NGO called Skills Society in Canada. Skills Society has a long history of innovation and advocacy for the rights and inclusion of people with developmental disabilities. We are known for our quality human centered services and social innovations. Previously I stewarded Social Innovation Research & Development for 8 years to improve the quality of life of some of the most vulnerable citizens in our communities. I’m also the co-founder of MyCompass Planning, the founder of Think Jar Collective and regularly give keynotes, and train organizations throughout North America on human centered service design thinking, social innovation labs and the tools and culture of disciplined innovation. Along the way striving to nudge positive systems change in human service organizations over the last 18 years, I’ve had stellar mentors and colleagues that I share credit with for some awards I’ve received. Some of these awards include the MacEwan University distinguished alumni award, the Government of Alberta Community Disability Service Sector Leadership Award and the Avenue magazine Top 40 under 40 award

I’m driven by the desire to help people, organizations and community get better at navigating complex challenges together.
