Biographie

Charlotte helps people with complementary expertise work together across jurisdictional boundaries, organizational silos, and economic sectors to solve today’s thorniest problems. The result is inclusive, durable and creative solutions to challenges that one individual or organization alone cannot solve.

Along the way, she works to cultivate thriving organizations that both excel in carrying out their own work and magnify their successes as they work together so collectively we move the needle forward on society’s complex issues.

Four families of tools guide Charlotte’s work: facilitation/mediation, evaluation, training/coaching, and graphic recording. The latter means she takes large scale visual notes of meetings and gatherings where we sort and sift through the superfluous to capture the meaning and essence your conversation(s). Or, she sets up the meeting so that you can create the mural(s) with each other to get everyone on the same page.

Charlotte holds a Ph.D. from the University of Michigan in applied psychology. She is a certified mediator and a facilitator for True Colours personality strengths. She’s also a licenced trainer on the Framework for Acting under Uncertainty and Complexity plus holds a Level 1 certificate from the Partnership Brokers Association. She started this work early — as the organizer of participatory games in her childhood neighbourhood.

She is especially delighted to support multiple organizations working together on a big problem over the long haul. She would be pleased and honored to work with you in furthering the important work of your organization’s mission for a better world.
