At heart, Christie is passionate about building vibrant, equitable, and sustainable communities and organizations. With over 15 years of leadership experience in the not-for-profit and public sectors, Christie is a strategic thinker, collaborator, and facilitator with expertise in designing and facilitating community engagement, strategic planning, and evaluation.
Christie is a co-founder of Arising Collective which provides strategic coaching and consulting services that elevate purpose-driven organizations. Using thoughtful and collaborative processes, Arising works with clients across sectors to identify opportunities and navigate challenges, understand and demonstrate their impact, while charting new paths that invigorate organizations.
Prior to coaching and consulting, Christie led local poverty-reduction efforts, developed national communities of practice, and facilitated community-based research projects. Christie is a Credentialed Evaluator with the Canadian Evaluation Society, a member of AIP2 Canada, and holds an M.Ed. in Adult Education and Community Development from OISE. Christie can help social purpose organizations align to the Common Foundations for Impact Measurement.
