Biographie

Holden is a finance and strategy consultant, helping dozens of entrepreneurs, management teams, and investors across North America, Europe, and East Africa over the past 6 years. Focusing on ventures with positive social and environmental impact, Holden’s problem-solving approach relies on learning unique aspects of new environments quickly, clinically dissecting potential challenge points, and designing, testing, and validating possible solutions. More practically, this entails launching new products, entering new markets, growing teams, and fundraising.

Holden’s mechanical engineering background includes a decade of successful projects delivered in diverse sectors including clean energy, consumer products, military, and machinery design. His focus on these projects was developing imaginative concepts through prototype stage into early production environments.

Holden has a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame, as well as an MBA focused in early-stage finance from the University of Oxford where he ran the Oxford Seed Fund, investing in student and alumni ventures.

Holden lives on the traditional and unceded territories of the Coast Salish Peoples in Vancouver, Canada. He is excited to live in a time where modern financial evolutions are possible including social enterprise, impact investing, cryptocurrencies, and crowdfunding. He loves kitesurfing.
