As a serial social entrepreneur I have become passionate about building inclusive, sustainable and resilient communities using social enterprise as a tool. I believe that we can amplify the underestimated populations in our communities with new innovative and creative perspectives.
Creating new revenue generating models to complement existing fundraising efforts to reduce the stress on staff and increase local impact. Using a human centered design thinking which includes investigating user experience to enhance existing programs and services.
After selling my first Employment Social Enterprise it has allowed me to take more time teaching others to start and scale their own. Fortunate to be recognized for the community work I was able to do with my business, winning awards for entrepreneurship from both the Toronto Region Board of Trade and the Brampton Board of Trade.
I focus my work on helping social enterprises access funding and assisting Non Profit organizations to start their first profitable social enterprise.
Colleagues have identified that I am uniquely skilled in creating strategic partnerships and collaborations that have helped to amplify community impact. In addition, I have volunteered and advised with organizations to help develop an ecosystem of diversity and inclusion.
