Biographie

Val is the founder of Tlatoa Consulting where she offers leadership and intercultural education and coaching, as well as program/curriculum development. She works extensively with post-secondary institutions and with community organizations. As a community organizer, she has contributed to local area planning committees and diversity action groups; she co-produced Theatre for Living Tours in Victoria; and served as president of the ITESM Alumni Association and representative of the Mexican Community in Toronto.
